ABOUT ABIDE IN GOD
Abide In God is a ministry rooted in deep Christian friendship, led by husband-and-wife team Keith and Joy McMinn, alongside dear friends Susan Goldsmith and Kathryn Arthur. We are also blessed to have Marissa Henrich as our webmaster and tech expert, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
Our bond has been forged over the years—strong as the ocean’s depths—through shared laughter, music, tears, and rich conversations about Scripture and ministry. From ministry trips to recording sessions in the Abide Studio and Nashville, every moment is a testament to God’s faithfulness. What a joy and privilege it is
to serve Jesus and His bride together.
Keith serves as the Worship Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church and directs the Worship Arts Academy which he founded in 2013. Keith is skilled in writing arrangements and orchestrations for both small and large music teams, hosts the weekly podcast, “Moments of Worship,” as well as coaching worship teams and leaders in biblical worship. He is now working on “Be Still and Know,” a three-volume series on the attributes of God with corresponding albums. His desire is to encourage all peoples to know God and worship Him.
KEITH MCMINN
Joy serves the local church in writing materials for corporate worship ranging from dramatized scripture, skits, sketches, and hymn and song texts. Joy teaches elementary art and leads chapel services through the Worship Arts Academy at Bethel Baptist Church. She believes that the primary tool in worship is always the Word of God through which God speaks to his people. Her desire is to point others to Christ through her gifts in writing, teaching, and worship leadership.
JOY MCMINN
Kathryn has a deep love for congregational worship and local church music ministry. She is an instructor at the Worship Arts Academy and a church vocal ensemble director, encouraging and mentoring others to develop their gifts to glorify the Savior and build up the Church. As a vocalist, songwriter, orchestrator and arranger, as well as music editor and copyist, she serves with the Abide in God team helping develop recording projects and print music.
KATHRYN ARTHUR
Susan desires to authentically lead the gathered church in musical worship. As a trained vocalist she serves at Bethel Baptist Church in Yorktown, Virginia, where she sings on the praise team and in the choir each week. Additionally, Susan serves as a worship ministry intern, assisting in planning and preparation of the corporate worship gathering. Believing that worshipers should always be sharpening their abilities to skillfully serve the one true God, Susan faithfully uses and develops the gifts God has given her to bring glory to Him.
